I love sleep. Sleep is my best friend. But, sometimes there are nights that I just can't seem to fall asleep. One night I came across the "4-7-8" breathing method and decided to give it a try. It claims to put you to sleep in under a minute which I'll admit it didn't work out the first time. Not even the second time. But, as I kept doing it i finally noticed it "working". The 4-7-8 breathing method relaxes your body and mind and soothes you to sleep.

HOW IT WORKS:
-Breathe in through your nose for four seconds
-Hold your breath for seven seconds
-Exhale through your mouth for eight seconds
This method is also perfect for those who suffer from anxiety and stress. It will calm your body and mind down when you're under stress or in anxious moments. Of course, this won't put you to sleep unless you're lying down haha! But, seriously if you have a big test, speech, or new job coming up try to use this method beforehand to reduce anxiety.
